I must retract the previous post which claimed the figure was the 'exact same one as the orig-fake colab, which it was (based on the promo pic that collete released).

No, clearly the team went back to a blank slate to create this new fig.

Or, they just carved the arms off & pulled the censor bar off the eyes for the actual release.

Parco 40th Show

Looks like DVRB & some other artists will be participating in Parco's 40th anniversary.

The anniversary runs from Dec 19th to the 25th.

DVRB also released a new platform figure "Peck" which will receive an exhibition at FewxMany on Dec 21st to the 27th.

Kawsolaboration

Well looks like the OriginalxFake/Kaws colaboration continues.

If you were to stop by the Aoyama shop you could pick up some new items for winter from their red collection. Like a Cashmere Knit for 28000円,

Hey speaking of Kaws, ( this is really late but still postworthy ):

You can get a new collectable bottle of kiehl’s creme de corps at collete with kaws tweaked label & "with bottle caps exclusively designed for colette."

Designfest 31

Designfest 31 just happened in Japan, a good place to see the up & comers. Juki had a strong showing with his booth, most of the pieces sold out before anyone could get pics of them, but here's the booth:

Featured are some special halloween-themed rings that he created for the event.


Some familiar faces were also in attendance.

Touma x Starwars

Last time we talked Touma mentioned that he was focusing on getting his hands on more licensed material to apply his style to, looks like he's making good on that prediction.

Scuttle Genbu

OneUp is getting closer to a rework of the scuttle design.

According to the guys @ OneUp the design was submitted about two years ago but met with problems due to changing sculptors. All of that behind now, the wax prototype is complete.
